Well, it certainly has been a while since the last post here. Kasey recently had her 1st birthday, for which we had a little family party. She's also crawling, cruising and walking with assistance more and more each day. Her taste in food has also become a bit more discerning, which is challenging, but entertaining at the same time. We're looking forward to what the next year brings to us.

Month 7 Comes And (Almost) Goes
We're coming up on seven months already. Time sure has gone by quite quickly so far. Kasey's been eating solids three times a day, going to sleep at 8:00 PM instead of 10:00 PM (and still sleeping the whole way through), and she's on the brink of crawling. This of course means that daddy has to stop procrastinating and start baby-proofing the house.

Pictures from month seven can be seen by clicking the image below.

First Portraits
We took Kasey to Sears on Saturday to get some portraits taken. Wouldn't you know it, she learned to sit by herself on Sunday. If she would have been born on the 20th, we would have been right on time. Overall the pictures looked good, and we're eagerly anticipating the printed sheets we ordered.

Up To Month 5
Month 4 went by so quickly that I forgot to do any posts during that time, so today will be both Month 4 & Month 5 in one shot.
Kasey is still doing well, growing faster and faster seemingly each day. She's outgrown most of her clothes quite a few times already, mainly wearing 6 - 9 Month outfits. Her last checkup put her at 13 lbs, 6 oz and gaining 4 1/4 inches in length to end up at 22 1/2. We have a feeling she'll be taller than most of us by Month 9.

3rd Month Already
Well, we're into the third month already and things are still moving along smoothly. We've found the secret to a full night's sleep for everyone is to add rice cereal to the bottle before bedtime. This helps her go anywhere from 6 - 8 hours without waking up, which is good because that's what we like to do as well.

Kasey received her first immunizations a few weeks ago, which she didn't particularly like, which wasn't unexpected. She was over 10 lbs at that visit, so she's gaining weight nicely on her 21" frame.

As usual, a new picture set for this month is ready for viewing. You can get to the entire set from the picture below.
